1. Dave’s Killer Bread won’t kill you

New data out of Florida says that store bought bread is your new enemy. It’s not, and it’s not even trying to hurt you, but let’s dive in anyway. I’m going to be so real, I don’t trust jack all that comes out of Florida, so my tin foil finger1 is a full-blown tin foil hand on this one. Call me the tin man, ‘cause I’m skeptical. Is it really tin foil if it’s taking a critical look at science-based, publicly published claims from a government entity, though? All signs point to no.

What’s the deal here? A new study is stating that there are concerning amounts of glyphosate—a chemical found in pesticides like Roundup—in certain bread products2. The Dept. of Health in Florida conducted independent studies of eight commercially sold breads, and six of them tested positive.
